Preliminary and Main Examinations of Group I of TNPSC Combined Civil Services .Exams ( CCSE )
Group I ( CCSE – I )
TNPSC conducts recruitment through Group I Exam for various high ranking State Administrative Services such as Deputy Collector , Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP ) , Assistant Commissioner ( Commercial Taxes ) , Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies , Assistant Director (Rural Development ) , and District Employment Officer. Eligibility : Minimum Age limit is 21 years . Maximum Age limit is 34 years for General, and 39 years for BC/MBC/ and SC/ST. Any Bachelor Degree recognized by State and Central Governments in India is the minimum educational qualification required. Final Year students of graduation can also apply.
EXAM PATTERN
Stage -I : Prelims ( Qualifying Exam For Mains)
The preliminary exam is a screening test to select candidates for Mains. Prelims score will not be counted for determining final order of merit. The number of candidates to be admitted to the Mains will be 20 times the number of candidates to be recruited having regard to the reservation rules.
